GM is betting big on their upcoming pickup trucks going electric. The upcoming 2024 GMC Sierra EV features a gorgeous exterior design and a neatly-appointed interior with loads of tech. The upcoming electric pickup will offer an insane 754 hp of power with its dual electric motor setup and over 400 miles of range per charge. The Sierra EV will come as a top-spec Denali Edition 1 offering high-end performance, a standard AWD system, and a whopping $100k price tag. The Sierra EV will compete with the Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC Hummer, and Tesla Cybertruck.

The 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 pack two electric motors making over 754 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque with standard all-wheel drive. The Sierra EV will be able to hit 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and offers a top speed of over 155 mph. The electric pickup offers a 9-feet long cargo area that can stretch up to 11 feet and offers handy 10 kW output sockets. The Sierra EV will offer up to 10,000 lbs of towing capacity. GM has not shared any real data on the specifications of the EV but we can say that the upcoming Sierra EV will offer incredible performance.
Battery: Range & Charging
The 2024 GMC Sierra EV will be built on a new 800 Volt architecture with General Motors’ new Ultimum-battery technology. The Sierra EV will pack a large 200-kWh cell that will provide a range of 400 miles on a single charge. The EV will also offer 350 kW DC fast charging and offers 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
