All-new Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be available in the second quarter of 2023 and will be coming in two variants – Zeta and Alpha

Maruti Suzuki showcased the all-new Jimny 5-door at the 2023 Auto Expo alongside the Fronx SUV. We expect the upcoming Jimny will be available in March & April 2023 through the Nexa dealerships. The Indian government has already placed an order for Suzuki Jimny customized for the Indian Army. Judging by the market share that Maruti Suzuki has in India says a lot about how well the SUV will sell in the domestic market. The 2023 Maruti Jimny will compete with the Force Gurkha and the Mahindra Thar. The 5-door Jimny looks very different from the global spec model. The Jimny 5-door offers more space inside its cabin thanks to its long wheelbase and extra two doors and offers more boot space.

The 2023 Maruti Jimny 5-door packs a 1.5L four-cylinder engine that makes 105 hp and 134 Nm of peak torque. The Jimny 5-door comes standard with four-wheel drive and a low-range transfer gear for off-roading. Maruti’s improved K15B petrol engine comes with mild hybrid tech and offers brilliant go-anywhere capabilities. The SUV comes with a 5-speed manual transmission with a 4-speed torque converter automatic as optional. The 5-door Jimny packs a spacious cabin fitted with grippy seats and a 9.0-inch infotainment display with connected car features.

The 2023 Maruti Jimny 5-door comes with standard features such as six airbags, steel wheels, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, limited-slip differential, and electronic ORVMs. The top-spec Alpha trim will offer a bigger 9.0-inch infotainment screen instead of the 7.0-inch, keyless entry, and smart connectivity features. It will also offer automatic LED headlamps and fog lamps, alloy wheels, automatic climate control, etc.
